The REAL reasons why you don’t have a time

We all have 24 hours a day, and believe me, even those successful, well paid and high – ranking officials, do not have a secret deal with a time. Sometimes wondering, how do they manage to do it? How can they succeed not only in their professional career but also in private life? How do they look good 24 hours and always the first guests at parties? The whole mystery is based on a successful planning, clear priorities and steady progress towards your goals. What  should you do and change that you too become as they are – with a lot of time in your hands?

Some tips to gain more time every day

  1. Set your priorities

Sometimes in a rat race, when all things are planned two weeks ahead, unpredictable things might happen – you fall sick, the wisdom tooth hurts, you find the cheap airplane ticket to your dream destination. All those unexpected situations are the best lessons in our lives. You are in  an endless situation but suddenly it turns out that you are able to re-schedule and sort your things so that the most important thing is done first, and the less important will be moved to an another day or canceled at all. Therefore, it is the proof that in reality it has nothing to do with a time, but priorities. We do not have a time for things that are not important for us.

  1. Stop doing more than one important thing per day

People are trying to do more things than in possible in the time they have. If you try to prepare a presentation, to write an article, to update social media or organize the meeting at once, then do should not be surprised that you can not do anything. Do one important thing in a time you have.

  1. Plan your day in advance

To avoid a stress, the great helper is your planner. Plan your day in advance. So, the next day you will start with a clear vision that brings your goals closer.

  1. Start to learn to say “no”.

The ability to say no is one of the most important signs of maturity which goes hand in hand with successful time management. People who can not prioritize and can not say no, will never have a time. If you know perfectly well that you have to finish your report before the afternoon, it would be silly to take a long lunch break with your colleague.

  1. Work hard play harder

There is no doubt anymore that achieving your dreams and goals are important but also having a rest is very important. It is important to relax your mind and body. If you do not renew your power, sooner or later you will have a burn out syndrome.

  1. Stop wasting your time

It is very easy to deviate from your goal. Internet is just one of the sources of wasting time. If you have started your presentation, do not check your social media all the time.

“If you don’t have time, you don’t have priorities.” / Tim Ferris

“It’s not about “having” time. It’s about making time.”

“A person being “too busy” is a myth. People make time for the things that are really important to them!” / Mandy Hale
